Beastie Boys, DJ Shadow, Beats Antique, Public Enemy, Chet Faker, Marian Hill. RJD2, Flume, Atmosphere, Radiohead. The Russians: Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Shostakovich, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev.

What inspires you to make music?

Music itself. "It's a bridge between Heaven and Earth".

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Bring ministry to your art!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

At home. Where I belong. But always a little nervous. If you're not then you're doing something wrong!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Great question. An uphill battle but worth it. "The Dream is free but the hustle is sold separately!" Burying Article 13 would be a huge improvement.

I'm new but liking it so far.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not knowing Ableton!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I perform at open mic's. I host a literary series on occasion. I give dharma talks.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be authentic. Reach people in an organic way. You can't fool your audience.
