Where There’s A Will-There’s A Way! That’s the way Will Ready lives his life, no excuses, no regrets, and no looking back. Just like fine wine, Will has gotten better with time. With over 25 years in the music business, 7 albums and numerous tours, Will is ready. Singer/Songwriter/Producer and Showman, Will is the complete entertainer! His blend of R&B, Soul, Jazz has earned him welcoming fans in Europe, Japan and The Caribbean. Will attributes his silky seductive style to his love of R&B, Soul greats like, Charlie Wilson, Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly, Ron Isley, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Keith Sweat, Baby Face and Maxwell. Will has had the privilege of opening up for legends like, The Temptations, The Whispers, Howard Hewitt, Zapp, Midnight Star, Slave, Al Hudson & One Way, Millie Jackson, Kurtis Blow, Chaka Khan and Al Jarreau. He’s recorded 7 albums with an 8th in the making. A new single, “Rough Out Here” available worldwide on all major digital outlets September 4th, 2020 with music video to accompany it. He will also be releasing his first Christmas E.P. in November 2020, all original songs. New music, merchandise, videos, tours and promotions coming in 2021.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me is my way of expressing how and what I feel. My way of relating to others through music. It's what I eat, sleep and dream about. I love the idea of writing a song from scratch which others cam relate to. The feeling you get from a live performance is like no other. It's a high i never want to come down from.

What is your music dream?

My dreams are to tour worldwide, 150-200 paid shows per year, with sponsorship, merchandising, making a great living doing what I love to do, music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start with an even playing field for everyone regardless of race or where you're from.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Before I Let Go, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Charlie Wilson, Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly, Keith Sweat, Baby Face, Marvin Gaye, Lurther Vandross, The Isley Brothers, Maxwell and Kem.

What inspires you to make music?

It's my way of expressing my self. To write about things that people go or are going through in real life really excites me.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That you can accomplish anything you truly want to, Dream big, don't let others dictate your life for you.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

The immediate interaction is a feeling that you hope never ends. I love being on the stage, making people forget about there issues if only for an hour or two.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Understanding that it's a business, networking together, rehearsing, putting together a real show, now winging it like a hired gun.

What do you think of Drooble?

Today is my first day, but the tools so far are incredible. I'm still figuring it out, but so far I like.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The labels people try to put on all musicians like all we do is drugs, I've never don any drugs. Also, the cut throat side of the business.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes I do, I love going to concerts, seeing others perform, supporting them, learning what to do and what not to do, networking helping when I can.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Can't be lazy, persistance, determination, think out side the box, knowing who your audience is so you can market the correctly. Networking and supporting others, learning skills like facebook ads, instagrams ads, youtube asd etc. Creating a mailing list with a monthly newsletter.
