Voytee Komorowsky

Story

Voytee is a music producer/composer from Poznań, Poland. The sound of his music is a twisted mix of Ambient/Orchestral and Future Garage with elements of dubtechno. His songs seeks to explore darkest elements of the human psyche. Voytee began his musical journey in 2000, playing guitar and making his first compositions. In 2014, he began to experiment with keys, synths, drum programming, sampling. His favorite synths he love to work on are: Form, Massive, Absynth 5, FM8, Monark. Voytee strives to create a hybrid sound with a new view, un-categorized. Something on the edge of creativity that has not yet been heard. Every element of the past, as Voytee would explain, has had an effect on who he is today as both a composer/producer. Being born and raised in Szczecin, Poland, attending to University, moving to Denver, Colorado for four years and moving again to Trier, Germany – Voytee's music is an expression and perpetual reflection of all of it. "I take inspiration every single day.” Constantly translating personal experience into his craft, Voytee finds inspiration from a range of sources, from his friends musicians, artists on labels like Hyperdub, Leaf or Warp, to his travels. These influences, combined with a hunger for discovering the newest, most cutting-edge sounds on sites like Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Dreammy are some of the ingredients to the Polish producer’s creative process.
