Currently I am working on my own material of many genres but focused on progressive metal with rock elements. Been writing albums for over a decade. I've been in bands: Lotus Effect, Illustrate The End, Nuclear Funeral, and Complication. None of which really encompassed what I am as a musical artist... till maybe now... I'm thinking of calling this project Dymaxion. I would like to form a band around these vast sounds (and here is only the tip of the iceberg)so if you are Houston local and play drums, bass or guitar and maybe can sing harmonies, hmu... Ultimately, I'm doing this cause I feel compelled to create and complete songs much like my paintings. They are each an expression of experiences and discovery of whatever it is behind the driver's seat of this body. I really don't care if you don't like it, but if you do, please let me know you do by clicking the little heart next to your favorite songs, sharing, commenting and being otherwise cool. Now, let's go to work...
Music is like my art, which I do for a living. It is a way for me to express myself but more so, I want to create things that have never been done before. I don't like just sounding like someone else. I want to front a band that isn't afraid to write different songs with eclectic influences like the classic bands used to do.
To go to the top like Ghost has (for a recent example)
spreading free, clean wireless energy like how Nikola Tesla discovered.
Tommy Can You Hear Me? comes to mind...
The Beatles, Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Pain of Salvation, Metallica, Megadeth, Ghost, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Korn, System of a Down/Scars on Broadway, Muse, Opeth, Nevermore, Iced Earth, The Who, Pantera, Slayer, David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Faith No More, Dax Riggs
emotion, math
esoteric knowledge, frustration with globalist tyranny
more alive than ever
could have a cooler name but I'll give it a shot!
finding musicians I can work with
somewhat... going to shows when I can. used to a lot more when I wasn't so busy with building my art.
be really good
