I am Indian-American. My parents wanted me to be a lawyer or a doctor, but things did not work out that way. I’ve loved dance and singing from the beginning and do it professionally now. Check me out!
Music is the one place where I feel like I make any sense. What makes me different is what makes me fit within the music industry. Music is the one thing that’s been loyal to me my whole life and I have vowed to be just as loyal to it.
To put out music for people who need it and to be able to do it for a living.
I would start with children in need. Music offers so many therapeutic benefits and with music programs all over decreasing, I would love to create a way to still bring music programs to those children who would benefit from them the most.
Spice Girls-Wannabe It was one of the 1st English songs I ever got to listen to. My parents didn’t really allow me to listen to English music, but I my piano teacher’s daughter exposed me to the Spice Girls and my life changed lol
I’m kind of all over with it right now...I love Ruth B and Corrine Bailey Rae and India Arie, but I also really love Ariana Grande and Beyonce and J-Lo too
I made a pact with myself when I was 8 that I would pursue happiness. This pursuit of happiness always leads me back to music in some way shape or form...It makes me feel like when I’m creating music, that’s when I’m being most honest with myself. I want to inspire other people to be that honest with themselves because it is a truly freeing experience.
Through my music, I just want people the people who need it to know that they are not alone ion feeling or experiencing what they are going through. I want them to know that there is at least one other person in the world that can relate.
ALIVE!!! Onstage I get to be a version of myself that I wish I could be more often. I feel powerful and I don’t take that feeling for granted. That is why I try to create something worth sitting through, something that could possibly inspire a stranger in the audience.
Well Covid-19 has kind of exploded anything familiar in the music industry. The reality is we were already expected to be fully developed self sufficient businesses and now it’s even more so because we have to find even more creative and unique ways to be successful.
I don’t know yet. I think it’s cool that it’s a platform for artists.
Lack of support from higher ups in our industry and lack resources labels are willing to provide themselves.
Before Covid-19 I went to live shows all the time for indie artists and for different dancers that I support and follow. Now I follow on social media and repost as much as I can.
You have to get really educated on how to be an effective social media marketer and get familiar with SEO
