KELVIN UZOMA is a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Industrial Chemist and International Worship Leader in Renaissance Assembly.
Music is life to me and it helps me find expression, heal, touch more lives and connect with life in general. It gives me joy, peace and life.
To be the biggest music influence of all time, biggest global vocalist and song writer with long lastings songs that have made a difference globally and eternally. I want the young and old, every race, tribe, tongue to know and sing my songs and to testify of how their lives have changed since they listened to my music. Let the world be a better place because i came, i lived, i sang and wrote songs.
I would start with taking the message of faith around the world by the power of the Holy Spirit thereby making a difference in our generation, individually, locally and globally using music as a veriatble tool and the world as my stage.
I will always love you by Whitney Houston
Karen Clark Sheard, Clark Sisters, Christiana Aguilera, Tonex, Smokie Norful, Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, JMoss, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Celine Edion, Kim Burrell, Kirk Franklin
The Holy Spirit is my major inspiration and the difference that my music makes in the lives of my listeners. The joy, encouragement, strenght, love, hope, faith, healing, peace and life it brings to me and the universe.
The message of faith; the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sreading the unconditional love of God to the world thereby bringing healing, love, life, faith, hope, peace, unity, encouragement and joy; that's what all my songs and lyrics are all about.
I feel so excited, blessed and privileged. I feel like i am another person, like a lamb transformed into a lion(...lol). Spreading the gospel of Jesus is the biggest privilege for us and that inspires me to deploy my music ability for His glory.
The market seems over crowded and yet the styles/genres are limited, almost always the same or copied sounds. I believe, more labels should promote more artists with new differents sounds. The system also needs to be more organized and structured. I am quite optimistic though about the music industry and i believe it is still evolving, i see it as my platform and stage.
I think it is an interesting online platform and i believe every musician needs to be on this platform.
Being able to sponsor your music projects to the great level you want them to be especially for unsigned artist can be slightly frustrating as there is a defficiency of many standard record labels in this part of the world (Africa). In Nigeria for example, the up and coming artist pays for the studio time, mixing, mastering, photoshoot, graphics, promotions etc (with little or no dividends or sales even when placed on online market platforms sometimes), he/she also pays the tv and radio stations to air their music thereby crushing any possibility of ever getting royalties from those paltforms as it seems the artist is begging for favours compared to how it operates in the developed nations. The market/Nigeria for now is also limited in the genres they accept/welcome making the market one tracked and not big enough to accomodate enough talents compared to the developed nations.
Yes i do by buying and patronizing local content (songs, producers etc), also attending events, paying for tickets, promoting their work on my platforms etc.
The spirit of excellence is the key factor that every quality should be buried in.
