Born Ty Mencio in Waterbury, CT to Italian American parents, Freeze made his debut to the world with the 2007 national release Red SNoW with Detroit based rap label Long Range Distribution. The album to date is considered to be a classic in the sub genre of hip-hop, known as "Horrorcore". Freeze released numerous other projects and E.P's over the next decade independently, on his own imprint, Mercy Counts Records. I'm 2019 he revamped his musical styles and image and began work on a more rock,metal and rap influenced project called "Strange Brew" set for release October 13th 2019.
