Over the past couple years music for me has evolved into an emotional output as well as a pool of immense joy I can pull from. Everything I love revolves someway around music.
I’m not sure. At this point I just create my own favorite songs. I tend not to get my hopes up as far as making it with my music.
I have aspirations to volunteer abroad with Peace Corps.
Not sure but the first thing that comes to mind is Plainsong by The Cure.
Damn what a question. I made a list a while ago so I’ll post it but keep in mind it’s no exactly updated to recently: The Beach Boys The Cure The Beatles Deerhunter Atlas Sound Mac DeMarco Radiohead Gorillaz King Krule Slowdive Brian Eno Sufjan Stevens SPOON Tame Impala My Bloody Valentine Elliott Smith Smashing Pumpkins The War on Drugs LCD Soundsystem Good Morning Tonstartssbandht American Football Father John Misty Tool Modern Wool DIIV HOMESHAKE Jellyfish Bon Iver 7 Percent Solution A Five And Dime Ship Blindshore PUP Blue October Neon Indian Frank Ocean TELE/VISIONS Bulldog Eyes Cody Ash Richie Woods Porches ...and trust me, there are LOTS more.
On a personal level, my parents and their friends are musicians. On a musical level, people like Bradford Cox from Deerhunter, Archy Marshal from King Krule, etc.
Just that hopefully someone can take what I’ve made and insert their own life story to relate to me, or to simply appreciate the things I talk about going through in my songs I suppose.
Not sure. Haven’t done it yet with any of my music but I’d love to.
I live in Austin and the music scene is extremely saturated. There’s no way of making a name for yourself anymore unless you have a lot of luck I think.
Just downloaded it, we’ll see we’ll see.
How saturated the music scene is nowadays.
Liking FB pages and following IG accounts. Staying update w/ my favorite bands tours and such.
I would love to hear some answers on this.
Cody Ash, Blindshore, 7 Percent Solution, Richie Woods, Drug Drawer, Rupert Holmes, so many more.
