I started Toyako to experiment with art and the value a single creation holds. To make each song unique and essential, I will only create 50 songs in total as Toyako. Every song will have all my effort and care put in to create a profile I can look back to with pride.

I am really. comfortable with Kareoke but I have never tried to perform an actual gig yet.
Musicians are living in a weird society nowadays with the technology connecting the world and allowing musicians to share their music worldwide. This also meant that streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music cheapened the products for artists. Many attempts have been made to secure the "reality" of artists. like NFT's, but we are not sure If they would succeed.

Writer's block. Creating a unique song from a blank canvas can be exerting If done constantly. I like this process, but it also frustrated me at times.
Vancouver is a culturally established city, but the music scene is yet to be developed. I support my peers and the local scene because It's great to see the city find a sound unique to them.
