The Wall of Sound

Bio

The Wall of Sound is my musical project. Here I explore different concepts, different techniques and musical rhythms. This project links the two things I love most: music and technology. I grew up in Mexico City and my childhood was marked by the music that could be heard in my house. Among the records of Jazz and Disco that my mother used to listen and New Wave bands of my sisters, soon develops a parallel taste but always with more adventurous sounds. Like many, I started young, mixing at parties of friends with equipment borrowed from my parents. At that time there was no turntables Technics, nor mixers. So I did what I had at hand, even with cassettes (.. if you do not know what it is, you can ask your parents, or grandparents). Time later and in more serious way I became involved in the national Psichedelic Trance scene. Along some years together with a group of friends, we produce and played in several festivals, inside and outside of the city (great memories.. ) Passing that stage of my life, I decided to calm down and focus on the study and production of music. That was the moment when The Wall of Sound was born as a band and as a concept. At present the project is based on the beautiful Mexican Riviera Maya and is where most of my tracks are inspired.
