Trying to find interesting musicians in my area to collaborate with and create thoughtful, challenging original music for fun. I've been playing for most of my life, but it's been a long time since I performed.
Music has been a key to my life as long as I can remember. It's an outlet for my creativity, a place to channel emotions and ideas, a vehicle to express myself and a way to touch other people.
For so many years, I felt I had something to say with my music and the time to get it out for people to hear. I spent years doing free improvisation on the piano, but so few people ever heard it. Now, I know my time is limited and I find myself frustrated that I have so little tangible evidence of what I did. I dream of finding like minded person(s) to help me get things recorded, get them out there so I can share them with others.

Maybe the first time I heard Tarkus from ELP. That opened the door to so much other great music and made me realize there was a place for original, creative, challenging music.
