Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 Quantum Signals is a retired IT professional who, at the age of 50, decided to pursue a lifelong dream of making music. Twenty plus years later he's still at it.
Probably like most people involved with music, I believe music is an expression of the soul. From our darkest fears to our highest hopes, we express ourselves in music no less than a writer expresses in words. My music does for me what nothing else can besides prayer. It provides release for that which needs to be let out, whether good or bad, I make what I feel.
For years I have been enamored with music I hear as the credits roll at the end of a movie. I have heard some of the best music there and my dream, humble as it may seem to others, is to have one or more of my songs played at the end of a movie. May not be a big dream, but it's a dream nonetheless.
To see as many people come to Christ Jesus as possible. And I would hope that my music, though it's not Christian music per se, could help in that regard.
I'd have to get back to you on that one! There are so many it would be hard to narrow it down! Ok, after some thought I decided it would have to be "Amazing Grace".
The Beatles and The Orb stand out, though there are others. Those two probably have had the biggest influence.
A passion for which I have no other mode of expression.
Enjoy it.
I don't perform.
I would get into a lot of trouble if I answered that.
Drooble is awesome! We finally have a way for us poor artists to get our music heard.
My lack of talent.
No. At my age I'm doing good to support myself when I stand up. :-)
I would like to think it would be what has always been, that is be the best you can be and never give up on learning. I will be 70 this October and I am still learning new stuff about creating music.
Mark LaFountain. My best friend on Soundcloud and here on Drooble soon, I hope. I've invited him. I've done many remixes of his music and really enjoy working with his tunes. Watch for him to come to Drooble in the near future, He stays so busy with work and family that it may take a little time for him to get here.
