What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is everything to me. It's what has fueled every aspect of my life. For every significant moment in my life, there are countless songs that have gone alongside them. Music is my way of expressing feelings I may not be able to say any other way.

What is your music dream?

My music dream is to be able to produce the art I want, without any holds barred.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start with the massive inequality that exists in this world. Whether that be a judgment based on race, gender, sexuality, or any other aspect of being. I strive to help create a more accepting, tolerant world.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

The most memorable song from my childhood is probably Behind These Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson. The second those drums and guitars come in you just get transported into a different state of mind.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

My favorite artists are probably St. Vincent, Sleater-Kinney, Snail Mail, Mitski, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and Tove Lo.

What inspires you to make music?

Life inspires me to make music. I love to focus on the banalities of life, the aspects that we all get so hung up on but act like we don't. Whether it be locking eyes with someone you've never spoken to and feeling something, or the feeling of waking up in the morning, wishing with all your heart that things will change, but pushing it down and continuing on as if those thoughts aren't plaguing you constantly.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I hope that when people listen to my music, they get the message that everything will be okay. Even in the darkest moments of life, there are still glimmers of hope. When you're lying there wishing life was different you're not unhappy with life itself, you're just wishing for something else. I also would like to promote the acceptance of LGBTQ+ people, no matter who you identify as.
