What is music to you? What does it give you?

Mister-Pink have played at some of the Worlds most prestigious venues, events, weddings and festivals. They have appeared on National TV (Channel4 & Channel 5) several times. If you want a run of the mill band for your event DON'T book 'Mister-Pink', as this will be a night to remember. What is your music dream?

Simon Pink has played with Prince, Paul Gilbert, Tommy Emmanuel, Doug Aldrich, Wilco Johnson, Norman Watt Roy, Ben Poole and many more. Outrageous, funky, sexy and intelligent are all words that can’t be associated with this young man, however he has set the music world on fire with his soul filled vocals and raunchy guitar. Don’t expect this guy to be conventional, but do expect explicit fun and extreme entertainment. You’ve been warned!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Quinno Pink - is the guy behind those funky bass lines that will have you 'on the floor' in seconds. Watch out though ladies he can go very very low!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Jaspa Pink - Pure girly heaven. The brains and brawn behind the erection section. This guy has the beats, the rhythm and the looks to drive you wild! Lock up your daughters, when his beats comes out you'll just have to grind those hips in pure delight!

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Kings’ regulars are probably the luckiest people in Lincolnshire, maybe even the East Midlands! Not only do they have fabulous hosts in Richard and Sharon, they also provide the best music free of charge every weekend and they don’t come much better than Mister-Pink wherever you may go. Quiet and staid does not exist in their vocabulary, Mister-Pink is power funk, rock and blues at its very best covering the likes of Cream, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones but also mixing in their own songs in a seamless blend of quality entertainment. I asked Simon for his set list after the gig and do you know what the response was? “What set list? We just play what the audience like!” Believe me there are not many bands that can make such a confident statement. How many encores did we have? I lost count, the holiday weekend busy bar wanted more so Mister-Pink duly provided. Of course we must not forget the superb bass playing of Jules and Balding Bloke was in his element sound engineering when Pauly let rip with a storming drum solo. I don’t know what they feed them on in Norfolk however it seems to be an excellent diet for drummers! Now here’s a teaser for you…whilst we were clearing up afterwards I happened to mention that he’d forgotten to use his harmonica. That was it, straight to his kit and “Not Fade Away” commenced, Jules struck up his acoustic guitar and the remaining customers and bar staff all immediately broke into song…Most likely we won’t see these guys again until next year, that’s going to be an awful long wait for many of us! ~ gig reviewer - Lincolnshire Press

What inspires you to make music?

What a fantastic night I had when Mister-Pink played the King Edward pub, Aylsham Rd in Norwich!! Before Mister-Pink appeared on stage lots of people were sat outside enjoying the lovely evening but not for long because once the band kicked off & started to rock the outside audience gradually started to drift inside and by the time Mr Pink were belting out classics such as Helter Skelter & Foxy Lady several bodies were strutting their stuff on the dance floor. As the band progressed through their first set I noticed that some of the girls (myself included) had discarded their foot-wear in order to give the dancing their all & rock the night away which is something you just can't resist doing once Mr Pink & their addictive sound have got a hold on you. The whole gig had an awesome sound quality and many people were heard to say afterwards how impressed they were with the band members who in their own right are all quite different characters but once up on stage together performing under the collective name of Mr Pink they gel together superbly & give it everything they've got to both entertain their audience & do what they do best - ROCK!! ~ Jennie (Foxy Lady) Fox.
