What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my soul mate, my life partner. It gives me everything.

What is your music dream?

My dream has always been simply to be able to roll out of bed, write and record a song without ever having to leave my home. I have been able to do that for almost a decade now and it's wonderful!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Probably "The Joker" by Steve Miller. Hearing that song and deciding that I wanted to be just like that guy when I grew up is one of my earliest memories.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Pink Floyd, first and foremost. Rush, Smashing Pumpkins, Silversun Pickups, early Kiss, Duran Duran...the list is long and varied.

What inspires you to make music?

It's hard to say. Sometimes, I never know what I'm writing about until I've finished writing it. I once wrote a song about having writer's block, so...literally anything can be inspiring, if you approach it right.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I get anxiety, even after all these years. It usually takes me a couple of songs to get relaxed.

What do you think of Drooble?

I've only been here a short while, but I already like it much better than the other places I've put my music.
