What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is pretty much my life. I love most genre but have always had a special closeness to Rock/Metal. It can lift me or chill me out and playing it yourself is excellent for stress relief. Especially loud :)

What is your music dream?

Currently for my eldest Son Bill to get signed with his Band.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Racism. I would want that taken out of the equation.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Rubber Bullets by 10CC

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Favourite Band = System Of A Down. Current favourite musician = Jimmy Page

What inspires you to make music?

Mood (good or bad), also after watching good bands live. This usually gets my creative motor running.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I try to have fun with it, so no real message. I try to keep it as loud as possible and really just enjoy performing. I have no aspirations of making a real impact but like to be part of it.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Usually confident. Not a fan of tough crowds. My last band performed all original songs but were constantly badgered to do covers. Not a big fan of that.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Guitar playing today has reached a whole new level. The equipment available now loses me although I am a fan of technology. I applaud any musician who creates something original. Not sure whether anything needs improving. Just more live musicians and less boy/girl bands :)

What do you think of Drooble?

Looks pretty cool so far. Not been involved very long though.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not having enough time to work on my projects due to my day job getting in the way.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I go to live events when I can. I work shifts so its hard to fit in. I try to see my Son's band as oiften as possible when they play local. By the way it's My Son Bill doing all the vocals on my stuff.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

A knowledge of social media and access to you tube I guess. Initially that is. If you have good material and some collateral then using a good PR firm can help.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

White Raven Down. A great hard rock outfit from my area. They have a single being released on March 30th called "Take Me", which is being aired on BBC Essex Radio and a Rock Station in Philadelphia on Friday and Saturday.
