As if in a conversation
The musicians are being boxed and categorized these days by the gatekeepers and by the industry, who essentially shape the audience's musical tastes. This layer has to recede, and musicians should be able to find and communicate with their public directly and independently without such an excessive dependence on managers, influencers, labels etc. The consumption of music needs to be democratized and the musicians should get a fair share of the profits (if any) commensurable to their contribution.
We're new here and are not familiar enough with it. But someone we trust recommended us to get a profile here. It looks interesting and useful and we are curious.
Our own limitations as such.
Going to the local shows, rooting for and supporting local musicians and venues as much as we can.
Outstanding material (songwriting and production) as well as social media and other promotion skills. But we are eager to learn more about exactly that.
