Not only does he play the bass, he is the bass. Bos was born and raised in the Walt Whitman houses in Brooklyn New York. At the age of eleven, He was already talented and aggressively showing off his talents. He was born into a very musically inclined and talented family where he and his three brothers developed their musical skills. His mother also sang in Church along with his father who also sang and played the drums. It was not long before caught the attention of other church leaders and was asked to perform for them. They were eager to have this young musician grace them with his talent. Bos was musically disciplined, influenced and inspired in playing different instruments by his oldest brother nicknamed “Shorty” may he R.I.P. Shorty had a three-piece band and opened up for Kool and the Gang back in the 60s. Bos was introduced and exposed to various genres of music Through his brother Mike, which plays a big roll in how far you can go in the music industry as a musician and music producer. Bos also plays Classical, Jazz, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Hip Hop and of cause his favorite Jazz Fusion. Because of his versatility, talent and compulsion for music and bass playing, he has had the opportunity to play with some of the following artist such as: Stevie Wonder, Blue Magic, Michael McDonald, Martina McBride, Funkadelic, Darius Rucker, Cee-Lo Green, Jennifer Hudson, Wynton Marsalis, Ne-Yo, Charlie Daniels, Kenny Loggins, Opened up for John Legend and he opened up for Tony Bennett. He played on stage behind Earth wind and fire and closed the show with some really smooth riffs. Bos’s status as a seasoned musician makes him sensitive to all the nuances needed to create a great song. He’s patient, focused, And is soon to be a world renown hitmaker. As his experience illustrates, he has worked with Artist for decades. And because of his legendary association, his education in music production, to say the least, it’s very refined. He has his own creative, unique sophistication and knows how to bring the best out of it.
