RG Erwin

Story

RG Erwin's musical tastes and influences are quite eclectic and not what one might expect from a first encounter from this American/Australian artist. Listening to any one of the tracks on Ambient Attitude you may not realize that RG's humble beginnings as a musician started in the early 80's punk scene in the southern United States when it was quite dangerous to be on the fringes in those intense times. RG's love of alternative music quickly grew to the Goth genre where he was introduced to Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Mission UK and Switchblade Symphony. RG's love of cinema, especially film Noir and Italian Giallo was an injection of stimulating visual excess that was the perfect combination that thrust RG into experimenting with cinematic soundscapes. Creating ethereal, dreamscapes that take one to another place and time. RG's admiration and love for The Cocteau Twins music along with Robin Guthrie's enchanting, dissident and genius guitar style, helped to inspire RG in exploring and creating his own world in which to escape to from time to time to the secret garden. Relax and enjoy the 7 tracks on Ambient Attitude. Free your mind, explore the possibilities and don't forget to dream. All glory to God.
