Resofactor is an electronic musician, LaunchPad Pro powered Ableton user, FLSTUDIOizer, mod tracker, and visual artist. Join and Follow me on social media. TORSION EFFECT Torsion Effect member Resofactor originally experimented with alternative rock, and a fusion of post-punk & gothic rock during the early 90s. Over time his music has developed into a more colder, and ambient-exo-organic-post-industrial-oriented sound which has grown to include elements of trance, dnb, and other modern electronic music genres. Torsion Effect is most interested in creating a blend of electro-industrial-ebm-psytrance-darksynth, with "interwoven dance floor accessible rhythms", combined with "hypnogenic melodies" in order to produce-generate a hypnagogic state-of-mind and transcendental inter-personal experience within the listener-audience-dancer. Torsion Effect is currently working on new material after long hiatus. --------------------------------------------------------------- EFFECTOR STUDIOS Effector Studios is our production company and base of operations. --------------------------------------------------------------- FINDSP FINDSP is our line of audio plug-ins.
Suffering. Joy. Isolation. Community. Disappointment. Satisfaction.
Have more material released than projects in my project folders.
I wouldn't change anything. There's already too much meddling out there. The world is as it is.
First time I heard "Cars" by Gary Numan while it coincided with a rather amazing "heat-ligntning" storm on the horizon one night.

The sound. The fact it's in my capacity to be able to make it.
I'm politically active in enough areas of my life. I don't think I really want to bring that into my music or creative space. I don't believe there's any real "message" I have to share with my music.
Each experience is unique. Some moments seem more important than others. Other moments do not. I don't know. There's a mystery to it.
With the "Information Age" and digital delivery platforms, much of music has now become virtualized. Which is a shame really. Only thing that needs to happen is a server or computer going out and everything on it effectively disappears from creation and is unPersoned in some way.
Good site so far. Not overtly politicized like other social media platforms. At least here we can focus on the music.
I have a number of pieces in my studio that have been down for years, unfortunately. When gear needs servicing and not having the immediate funds to repair faulty equipment. That gets frustrating.
In 2009 I launched this project called "FIN" with the intent of supporting Florida's "industrial scene". It was a site with as many features as MySpace, Facebook, or even Drooble. I was not well received. Some one out of the blue from nowhere, people get jealous. Typical in that scene, however. FIN even a branded "net TV station" like MTV, but "FINTV". It had over 24 hours of original underground and independent industrial artists streaming, all tucked away behind the Member's Area to conserve what bandwidth I could afford related to the FIN project. -- Interesting to note that when MTV launched, MTV only have about 12 hours of unique content. FIN came and went. I've take a hiatus from music for the past few years. Including any of the promotions or supporting the "local scene". I had also relocated to a new area post-FIN. I live in the Tampa area, however, not the greater Tampa itself. As far as the music scene where I live? Lots of beach restaurants and beach cafes.
Get used to wearing many hats and stepping into many roles you'd never thought you would be filling the shoes for.
