How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Big question. I think it seems to be broken up into two catorgories. The older generation and the younger generation .because I've been playing for 40 years I have been subjected to both . On average I believe most people favour the music of there youth when they're in the prime of life. And both generations close they ears to the other generally with a small amount of cross over. So as much as I appreciate the skill in mastering the technology of music now days I do think it has lost the simplicity and not as organic. And is becoming more theatre than music . Nothing wrong with that. So all in all I think today's music has degenerated but the theatrics have improved. And sound quality.
