I am a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter in a band named Kali Ma and the Garland of Arms (KMGA). My songwriting partner/wife Jami Kali and I enjoy taking pop structures and adding our eccentric, dark whimsy to the songs resulting in a genre defying sound. We commonly refer to our band as experimental psychedelic dream pop but it's hard to pin a label on our style. Everyone has their own description of our music. One of my personal favorites was psychedelic Cyndi Lauper. You can hear our music on all or most of the platforms where you can stream music.
