What is music to you? What does it give you?

I believe that all humans were born to create. Creating and crafting lyrics to melodies is what I love doing. It gives me pleasure to experience the process from conception to finished product. I enjoy coaching artists in order to obtain the best possible vocals from them.

What is your music dream?

I don't have one, I tend to live in the moment.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would bring in a worldwide education program that concentrated on EQ (Emotional Quota) because the vast majority of people on this planet do not know themselves.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Whiter shade of pale. Gary Brooker, Procol Harum.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many to mantion.

What inspires you to make music?

Emotion, life experience, story telling.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Too many messages to mention.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I haven't performed since 1999.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Education. I observe many musicians being their own worst enemy by repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Spamming and multi-posting songs on the same threads which will annoy people resulting in them getting blocked. They need to do their research before walking into the music business like a bull in a china shop.

What do you think of Drooble?

I have been a member of Drooble for about a year now and like it a lot. It's a great community and platform and I really like the Karma idea that encourages its members to participate for rewards. It allows many songwriters to receive feedback on their songs and in addition receive radio play. It offers a number of other services that are well worth checking out. Just one negative is that just like facebook you get a few people on there who are not who they say they are. I'm sure that Drooble admins are working on fixing that problem.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Ignorance in all sections of the industry.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I wear quite a few hats so am always very busy but I am always on the lookout for local talent who I can introduce to producers and record labels. I'll even support them if their desire is to remain independent.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

They should be polite, engage regularly with their fans on social media, build your relationships with industry and don't rush in like a bull in a china shop. Always ask before submitting a song for airplay because their is nothing more annoying than sending your music to someone who has never conversed with you previously and haven't a clue who you are.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
