What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is our lives . My husband started 1.20.9. At age 13. We married in 2016 and built our music production business. We do this daily. He is the talent . He is an artist and producer and post production master. All i am is the force that makes our business grow. Ive done 5 songs so far.

What is your music dream?

To watch our music production company grow forever.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I am a empath( so by nature ) im drawn to damage. At this point in my journey ive learned not to even think of changing anything that is out.of.my control. Life sucks sometimes . Positive mindset is my mantra. Negative vibes bring out Raven. ( my artist name and alter ego)

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Too many to answer. What genre. ? Judas priest was my first cassette tape

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Suicide boys !!! Korn / system of a down/ incubus / anything rock . From 90 -now is my favorite. But i like phish grateful dead . Kendrick lamar ghostmane ect...

What inspires you to make music?

The fact that my husband has done this for 13 years . He didnt give up. I wont let him. He is introverted and quiet. He is not interested in any marketing or business. I took that over so we set on all angles

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Make art. Make music your way. If you feel like being emo one day or twisted beyond repair on another . So what. Do music your way . Life is brutal sometimes. Its a way of release. I just wanna get a huge mosh pit started. then i can retire to just desk dutie???

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I have always preformed on some level. When i write my music i think of how it will look performed. I see the whole pic . Beast.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I barely listen to the radio anymore. Garbage is pumoed out more than stars. I wish i could somehow dismantle the main stream music industry ... but no distribution deals would hurt the 1.20.9 in the future for other artist.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Waiting on post production.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I was a fan of my husband as soon as i heard a mix tape in 2010 .i finally met him end of 2015 . Married hin 5 months later .....

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Hell if i know . Ima fake it till he make it tho
