What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is what I love to do and it gives me a way to express myself in a creative way

To make music that people enjoy, regardless of how many people actually listen to it

I have no idea.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

David Bowie, Florence + the Machine, Hozier, Poly Styrene, Nina Simone, American Murder Song, Betty Davis, Keir, Christine and the Queens, Sevdaliza, and The Chicks

What inspires you to make music?

Anything! Movies I love, books I read, shows I watch, if I enjoy it I can write about it

What is the message you want to send with your music?

That you can make some really cool and serious music about pop culture

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

It gives me so much serotonin. I love performing in front of people

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It needs to be easier to break in to the industry. Nepotism is leaving so many talented artists out of the game, in particular with indie music

What frustrates you most as a musician?

How difficult it is to try and self promote without spending more money that I have

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

As much as I can by listening and streaming the artists' music

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Everyone has their own flavor, so it's not my place to tell another artist what they should be doing
