What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me is raw emotion. When I write, it usually comes from personal experiences. When I sing, I sing with all the emotions within me. To me, that is the only true way.

What is your music dream?

Being a seasoned Indie artist and only in the music industry since 2016, I don't really have a music dream, but it would be nice if I could leave some type of legacy behind for my kids after I leave this earth.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I really don't know. There are so many things that need work. I guess I would start with world hunger.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I don't have one. I lived with my dad for most of my childhood and music wasn't a big deal.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I have many. My current favs are Farewell, My Love and I See Stars. A few of my favs from back in the day are Pat Benetar, Aerosmith, and Belinda Carlisle.

What inspires you to make music?

I create music as an outlet for my emotions, which I hope will touch a listener's heart, and my lyrics may even help someone who is going thru a difficult time. I sing about things that happen in everyday life, so my songs are very relatable.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I dont have one certain message. Each song I create kind of invokes its own message; they each have their own "personality", if you will.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Performing in front of an audience is an amazing adrenalin rush. And when you go out there to perform to people that didnt show up to see you, (they came to see the other artists) and they're cheering and someone yells I love you lol, that feels totally awesome and at the end of your set when you say thanks for coming, they all clap! It's a wonderful feeling!!! ?

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I would like to see more opportunities in the mainstream media for Indie artists. I would like for Indie artists to be seen as "equals" with the mainstreamers of today. It would also be nice to get paid more per stream in digital stores. Just because we don't have a lot of money to buy our way into the Grammy's or buy our way into the hearts of the public like so many mainstream musicians do, doesn't mean we are not just as good. In fact, I believe Indie artist are more "authentic" because Indie artists produce most of their songs. To me, that is a true musician.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think Drooble was a great creation, and what you're doing to help bring indie artists or unsigned artists together and help us all to get our names out there is a wonderful thing! Kudos to the creators!! ?

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Creating my own tracks when I have technical issues, and not getting paid much per stream in digital stores. We work just as hard, if not harder, than the popular musicians, and our music is worth way more than .001 cent per stream.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I do. I have a production and promotion company Pixy Muse Productions that is dedicated to helping unsigned artists around the globe.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I'm not really qualified to answer this question as I have never experienced performing in front of a large audience. But, I believe an artist needs to do two things: keep things "real", and have a broad target audience, having at least one song for each target in their set list.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

One awesome artist you haven't heard of is my unsigned artist, but he is my partner as well; his name is Acme Blaze (formerly known as Rapacme and Acme). He is a Nigerian artist, he's 22 and very talented. I have been working with him for a year, and am currently working on getting his name in every household in Europe. Here is his link on Spotify. He raps but also sings pop and dance genre songs. https://open.spotify.com/artist/7BPj6Fy3vtDyq3s9OEmWR8?si=l3H8xQZtQaWh8FdSOvjkTg
