What is music to you? What does it give you?

I took up music late in life - the ripe old age of 18. I drifted through a little college and working life but studied music in college at Delta State University when I went back in 2007 and graduated in 2010. I served as audio engineer and assistant manager of Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS from 2005 until 2007 and have played the majority of my gigging experience on that stage with my own band and many other bands. I've been lucky enough to play with and or open for: Hubert Sumlin, B.B. King, Lyle Lovett, Ike Turner Jr., Johnny Billington, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Jaxx Nassar, Terry "Big T" Williams, Josh "Razorblade" Stewart, and many other blues and rock bands. Though I work a 9-to-5 gig now I stay active in the music scene and am always looking for a gig. Music is the chance for me to do something above and the beyond the daily grind of making a living.

What is your music dream?

I just want to finish writing an album and put an original music mark out there. Whether it is popular or not doesn't matter to me - I just want to add my own expression to the musical world around me.
