What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music gives me freedom to express everything in my life. I love listening and playing all different genres, it keeps it fun and interesting!

To be in Nashville recording and/or touring full time

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Pumped

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

A lot of online marketing and promotion, a lot of social media, playing a jam packed venue one night, then to 3 people at a corner bar the next. Up and down roller coaster. It could be improved by people paying live musicians more. It’s a lot of work to buy gas, haul a PA, set up PA and instruments and THEN play all night for $100 It could also be improved by streaming companies giving the creators a fair share, not .0000000000000001 cents a stream

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it’s pretty cool! Just discovered it. I like how there’s discussions going on about useful topics, and it’s cool how you can earn money by reviewing music.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Other musicians not treating it seriously, like a business

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes! I’ll go to shows when I’m not performing. I’ve done some drum sheds with some local drummers too

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

VERY good at social media and other public platforms online. Not afraid to submit their music to streaming platform curators and influencers. People person
