New to this. Not a musician, don't have a voice (not a GOOD one, anyway), but for a long time, I've wanted to write songs. I can almost FEEL the melodies at times, and some of the lyrics almost write themselves. I just need to learn to play something so I can finish the job. So close on some of them, but I need to actually HEAR the melodies physically instead of in my head. Saw this site online, and thought "it's free . . wth could happen".
Music is more than the "bards' tales" of old. With good lyrics and melody, you can do much more than tell a story. You can immerse the audience in the story to the extent they actually FEEL what the story relates to.
