Michael was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Spending most of his early years in Hayward. While still in high school, Michael played with rockers that would eventually become the members of The Eric Martin Band, Legs Diamond, Y & T, Night Ranger. Tesla, The Eddie Money Band, Zolar X and a host of others. Some have said that there must have been something in the water in Hayward in the early 70’s that produced such a high amount of future rockstars from that area. For what ever reason, Michael is a part of that group of musicians. Michael has been writing and performing his own songs from the very beginning, never wasting his time on doing covers. He has been in bands since he was fourteen. Michael has since been playing and touring the United States in bands such as ROADWORK, THE ENGLISH LYONS, JOKER, THE TAKE, THE LAWMEN, LOST CARNIVAL and DANGER ALLEY. In 2010, Michael put together a melodic rock band called Lost Carnival and within 4 months of the bands creation, gained the interest of Great White guitarist Mark Kendall who agreed to produce the bands first CD. In 2012, The band changed their name to DANGER ALLEY. With only 2 shows under the band’s belt, they opened for ENUF Z’NUFF and within 1 month would get a personal request from Mark Kendal to open for GREAT WHITE. The band played to a sold out audience in Salt Lake City. They have since opened for Blue Oster Cult, Pat Travers, Edgar Winter, Vince Neal, April Wine, Firehouse, Kix, and Slaughter. Michael is now out as a solo artist under the name "Witness Of His Glory" still producing the same great melodic rock that inspired him. After almost dying twice, he found God and has dedicated his life to the gospel and is finally using the talent the Lord has blessed him with for the right reason.
Incorporating Gospel principals and the ever-present spirit of God, the music of Witness Of His Glory testifies of the existence of God and Jesus Christ and the amazing things they have done for us in our lifetime. Ever since time began, Satan and his dark spirits have tried to lead us down a path of unrighteousness and spiritual death that ultimately leads us astray from our true callings in life and God's plan of happiness. The music of Witness Of His Glory offers a much-needed light within the darkness and will hopefully help to counteract their subtle manipulation.
To use the the gift of music the Lord has blessed me with to bring souls to Christ and spread the gospel to those who are seeking it.
For everyone to know Christ is real and that He is still working miricals in our lives and in the world.

I love the power and energy I feel from a responsive crowd. To know that my music is touching people's hearts.
Its so much easier now to reach more people all over the world with the internet and all the streaming outlets available. We don't need huge record labels anymore to distribute the music. Touring is pretty much dead now because of the high cost of taking a large production on the road. I will miss that.

I'm a perfectionist so when I've had to work in a band setting, I don't like the feeling of having to depend on others to produce what I hear in my head. Being a solo artist helps that way but it's a trade off. I miss the brotherhood of being in bands. It's always nice to have close friends around doing what you truly love. I do all my recording in my home studio now and play everything myself, so it's a bit lonely.
I try to get out as often as I can to see live bands I like but I spend most of my time supporting bands on the internet now.
I think the most important part of being a musician is the message of our songs. I've been writing and playing my own material for 40 years but until 3 years ago, my messages really didn't go too deep and were wasted on things that didn't really matter. When the Lord blesses musicians with the kind of talent that He does, is is our responsibility to use it wisely. We have a calling to help the Lord spread the gospel and bring peace to people's souls through our music. Then it goes without saying that the songs have to be melodic and catchy. A good hook will go a long way in building a following. Don't get caught up in being self indulgent and try to impress people with how good a musician you are. It's the spirit and message of the song that matters.
