What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is life to me. Someone says, "would you like to perform for..." my answer is "Yes" with a big smile on my face. "Would I like to collaborate?" Of course! I have been writing, singing, and playing guitar since 1969. Music has always been part of my life.

What is your music dream?

To perform music until the day I die. I would like to find more venues, other musicians to collaborate with, record some, have more opportunities afforded me, and be appreciated as the great writer and performer I am.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

That is a big question. Looking for a romance.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

So many.

I have loved so many. Not all of them are famous. I have met great and memorable musicians at all levels.

What inspires you to make music?

It just seems to be, as they say, in my blood. I am inspired by others by also by my own thoughts and ideas. I find inspiration in romance.

Everyone's music has a certain romance in it known to the heart of that musician. Often there are ideas or messages to convey but sometimes it is just a sound that sets in.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

If I was every nervous--hardly ever--it is before I went on stage. Once I am on stage, I feel like a million dollars and right at home. I love it like nothing else. It is a wonderful feeling. You can feel the audience connecting with you. You sense from their response whether you have done something to move them or not.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Gret sound control and effects, monitors, and how much of the room sound you have (even with the audience) makes a big difference.

What do you think of Drooble?

Cool idea--a social media for musicians. Just now signing up.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being able to find enough places to perform. Many places could include music but do not.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

?

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

They might have to gauge what people like to hear where they are.
