About me

My name is Matthew Simak. and I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. As a kid, I taught myself how to play drums. After that, I bought my first guitar at a pawnshop and taught myself how to play. Throughout the years, I have also taught myself bass, harmonica, mandolin, vocals, and how to use mixing equipment. In 2000, I wrote and recorded my first album. I put together my band, Sandzstone ,and our music was featured on 105.9 the X multiple times.. About a year later, my band broke up. I write and record music every chance I get. This album is solely written, recorded, performed, and produced by me. I'm back and ready to show the world what I have to offer. This album consists of a mix of blues and rock with an old school/hell ya! Kind of feel. 2018 is the year of the Revv-olution .
