What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a way of life, a hobby, an escape. It gives me great pleasure and a sense of accomplishment whenever I write something that others like.

What is your music dream?

To be able to continue making music and collaborating with friends for many years to come.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Getting rid of all the hatred and racism in the world.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I would say the song I Want To Hold Your Hand by The Beatles, because I have a vivid memory of myself and my older sister sitting on the floor with a portable record player between us listening to that song, and the album Meet The Beatles.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Beatles, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Acoustic Alchemy, Liona Boyd, Craig Chaquico, Nightwish, Disturbed, Sabaton, Shinedown, Green Day, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Breaking Benjamin, Zapple Pie.

What inspires you to make music?

The sheer joy of it.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be Happy, for the most part, and enjoy life.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Have not really played in front of many people in a large group, did at a few weddings, a bit nervous but enjoyable, did a few recitals at a young age with a lot of stage fright, but got through most of them okay.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Musicians seem to have to make their money by performing live today, as record and cd sales seem to have really gone way down. I would make it harder to download a musician's music on line for free, so the artist would get more from their work instead of people getting it for free.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far I like it very much, lots of good music and the exposure is very nice.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being able to jam live with friends very much.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Have seen a friend who sang in a few local bands here, and support a Beatles cover band that comes around once in awhile that is based near me.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

The willingness to make the effort to get their music out there, and a good attitude about it.
