Story

The last few years, have been a time of self discovery, of spiritual refreshment, ego cleansing, realisation and revelation. Realisations …Not only about the world around me, relationships and the nature of the material energy.. but of my own needs, desires and faults. I have come through some tricky times.. i believe a more balanced and in many ways a more liberated person.. Liberated from old and debilitating patterns of thought and behaviour, but also from bad association. Or at the very least I can now deal better, with negative and controlling influences. This personal sojourn into self realisation, was necessary.. but now I find myself rediscovering my first love.. Music. And its sweet and satisfying to be back creating some songs, and recording again. Also playing with a great bunch of musicians and friends..."Fate The Juggler" an Original Indie Rock Band. https://www.fatethejuggler.com/ Good to be gigging again, and recording with these guys. These days I am happy to keep it simple, but hopefully some of this new material will be… at the least… fun to do, and perhaps pleasing to some ears. Looking forward to hearing as much new music as possible. Its good to be back ;-)

To be able to write, create, and play for as long as I can.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Myself.. To change the world, first we have to change our own conciousness.. Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see in the world".

The Beatles, Jethro Tull, James Taylor, Roy Harper, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan, John Martyn, Nick Drake, The Rolling Stones, Richard Thompson, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Bob Dylan, Richard Shindell, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Led Zeppelin.. and many more.

What inspires you to make music?

A natural longing to create something beautiful.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Social commentary and observation of the world is expressed nicely through music.. the message has always been, and hopefully always will be .. to inspire, give joy, and promote love and happiness through this universal language.

Comfortable and lifted.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I like it.. It's a well constructed and friendly place to be, and share music.

Through social media, and supporting live music.. where possible.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

It seems to me that to be a successful artist these days, lots of networking is the key.. focus and intensity .. and believing in what you do is needed. Thats always been the case.. but these days.. it's a gigantic task.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Fate The Juggler.
