What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is a way of life, it can achieve so many different things in life, it is a passion and ultimately helps in any situation you may be experiencing.

What is your music dream?

My dream is to build Seven Sins Festival and in a few years time see the festival progress to become a major outdoor event which excites and entertains music lovers and fans year in year out. Also we want the festival to grow and become a major event for unsigned bands throughout the country, giving them an excellent stage to be seen on and to gain recognition through playing at.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I do not believe anything or anyone can truly change the world individually, I believe that the most impotent thing is to look after your friends and loved ones around you at every opportunity you have.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Pretty much anything that I saw Freddie Mercury play with Queen, it all blew me away and started and helped develop the love of music in particular rock that I now live for.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Artist - Freddie Mercury who I believe was and always will be the best front man of all time and will never be truly rivaled. Band - G'N'R are definitely my favourite band of all time, conquered the world in no time at all, musical ability, live performance, image, attitude - everything about the band was and always will be totally unbelievable and awesome in my opinion, they were the full package and again I do not believe will be ever truly rivaled.

What inspires you to make music?

Music itself inspires us I believe, we hear an amazing track or album and turn our own dedication into emulating it which is awesome!

What is the message you want to send with your music?

The message we like to send out through Total Entertainment South Wales is simply do it your way and follow your own personal dreams.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I promote not play but get the biggest kick in the world watching our acts kicking ass on stage and I am always so thankful we can get them there and help them do what they love. I also love seeing fans reacting to our performers, again making fans happy is a truly awesome experience.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I wish certain so called 'big' agencies and booking agents/management cared less about big unrealistic fee's to line their own pockets with, and cared more about getting the talent signed up to them out there more, some artists sign up to a so called 'big' label and we rarely see them again, reason being they are suddenly out priced and left on the sidelines - very sad.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far so good, anything to help musicians, promoters etc connect is awesome, we should all help each other and ultimately we will all achieve our goals, if Drooble can aid with this then fantastic I say.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

As a promoter, I suppose the battle or competition that some others create among themselves, there is no need, work together whilst focusing on your own goals I say.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Absolutely both as director of Total Entertainment South Wales, promoting local bands and venues, as well as hosting regular live events ourselves, and also as the dude I am which ultimately is a fan who will go to local gigs, spread the word all he can and try encourage and create new opportunity for local unsigned acts. The most important thing all fans should be doing right now is totally getting out there and watching all your local acts play live as regular as possibly as too many good live music venues are sadly closing at the moment.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Obviously talent, but also patience, promoters do not want people messaging every day about the same thing simply as they get a lot of requests, all good promoters will eventually get back to you and appreciate the patience shown, personality and the right attitude are important also, showing a good ability to work with and support others goes along long way.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
