That there's room for all of us in the music pond... I grew up in a time where radio stations and TV shows played all genres of music -- it opened our minds and hearts to so many beautiful artists and varieties of songs and music styles.
Terrified.... it's why I haven't performed in 15 years....
I know I sound like my "Mom" when she talked about music of the 80's and 90's when I was young... but music nowadays is boxed into looks vs talent. An album cover is more influential than the music it contains.... As an older singer and not 'fitting' the mold of todays' singers - I feel like the dust covered classical music vinyl section, way in the back of the store ?
