I have a good life, a good day job, and music is just a hobby. I use music to numb my frustrations in life in general

Used to go to local bars for shows all the time before the pandemic. I usually buy a t-shirt and a cd, from the bands playing
What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?
Be unique and not sounding like everybody else.
