Growing up in the early 2000's he would often find himself listening to indie bands such as Owl City, Bastille, but also enjoyed heavier rock bands such as Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed, and mainstream musicians like The Beatles, Aerosmith, Kanye West, and Eminem. Early music exposure also included Guitar Hero 1, 2, and 3 to fully solidify the appreciation for rock and roll. Loki finally discovered the music of Travis Scott, Yung Lean, and Lil Uzi Vert. With that, he found himself inspired to work with music as a sonic canvas for emotional art. With unique hypnotic trap ballads with banging percussion set to surreal and natural sounding synthesizers, his music will draw you into a separate sonic world.
Music is sonic refuge, the ability for an individual to transform emotion and energy through sound. As a creator, I often experience a therapeutic effect from writing and performing my lyrics, as if I liberate pent up energy with every melody. When I listen to the music of others, it allows me to relate on a deep level, a level of shared experience and it reminds that we are not alone. What a great gift to the human race.
