Leo Hook

I entered music school in 1971 at the age of 6. Since then, life is rolling down and it seems that nothing can be fixed :)

What is music to you? What does it give you?

I give to music all my efforts, free time and free money. Music does not give me anything but trouble and wasted time. This is unrequited love.

What is your music dream?

To stop loving music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Mozart's lullaby.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I don't have any favorite.

What inspires you to make music?

If I know!

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I am not a messenger. I am a transmitter.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Better than when I do not perform.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Success on Forex is much higher then in music industry. Music - is a special kind of virus. Musicians - are hopelessly sick people. I am too.

What do you think of Drooble?

The overall impression is good. A little bit more work with the qualification of reviewers, plus distribution, copyright work, royalty collecting, syncing. Our days is a difficult time for any musician, despite there are a lot of opportunities: too many doors and ways. Marketing is a real labyrinth for most of us. I wish Drooble to grow up and become a world leader in every field, mentioned above.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The abundance of songs with vulgar and stupid lyrics that occupy the top places in the hit parades and form the worldview and culture of new generations.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

No idea. I live in another world. Here everything is different.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
