I'm a 22 year old singer-songwriter with a background in musical theatre. I write songs about the life experiences of myself and others, and sometimes about completely made up stories. I love the story-telling element of songwriting and I am inspired by artists like Taylor Swift who tell such incredible stories with their music. I want my music to give people something to relate to. My goal is to be able to play my songs around the world.
Music is the only thing I have ever really loved doing. It gives me a purpose, something to be passionate about, and something to pour all my emotions into.
To be a successful singer-songwriter and play my songs around the world
I would make people more tolerant
Songbird by Fleetwood Mac - my nan always played it
Taylor Swift, Paramore, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, and so many more
Mostly my own emotions and what I've been through
I want to create music that is relatable and makes people feel something
Like I can be anyone I want to be. It gives me the freedom to express myself in ways I never thought I could.
I think the industry is becoming too dominated by social media and it makes it easy for artists to become one-hit wonders. However it also makes it very easy for artists to blow up over a 15 second clip on TikTok. I think the industry nowadays has it's pros and cons.
I think its a great networking platform
When musicians tear their fellow musicians down
I go to a lot of indie gigs and support local open mic nights
Being down to earth, charismatic, engaging, and relatable
