One Man Army

Story

I am Kamol Anowar from Bangladesh a very musical in my mind and deep from my heart. My motherland Bangladesh became independent in 1971. I'd like to tell all generations that during the independent war in 1971 a "Concert for Bangladesh" has been organized by the former Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison and Indian sitar master Ravi Shankar. The concerts were held at 2:30 and 8:00 pm on Sunday, 1 August 1971, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The shows were organised to raise international awareness and fund relief efforts for refugees from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), following the Bangladesh Liberation War-related genocide. The concerts were followed by a bestselling live album, a boxed three-record set, and Apple Films' concert documentary, which opened in cinemas in the spring of 1972. As a musician or a singer I always wanted to be a sophisticated and classic. I started my musical life with rhythm. I learned "Tabla" and after that I started learning "Classical Music" in 1985 while I was a student of class 6. I have lot to say about my musical career in Bangladesh but the only one I want to dispute is on 2006 when The "Bengal Foundation" certified me as a "Highest Graded Singer". I am also an enlisted singer of "Bangladesh National Television". I composed lots of Commercial Jingles for Radio and TV. Now in the middle of my life I am living in Swaziland with my family. I am the Operations Manager in a Software Development Company in Mbabane. But still I have my own home setup with studio facilities and still I am learning, composing and singing from deep of my heart. I always believe that, " If something can changes you it's music ".... GOD BLESS THE MUSIC.
