I am a guitar player by heart. I started when I was 12 when my mother bought me my first guitar. At around 14 I started fooling around with DAWS. I have been practicing and learning as days go by hoping that eventually I will create something that people will find appealing. Thats all that I want.
Music to me is the feeling inside of you that you get when you hear a certain sound, melody, guitar riff, drum pattern. Anything that makes you feel a certain way. That's what I live for when I create music. I want it to make me feel something I otherwise couldn't doing something in the real world.
To make music that people enjoy listening too. Even if it gets me nowhere financially. I would literally gig for free if that meant people would show up and love the music I am putting out.
Giving people the money they work for instead of putting in the goverments hands.

I wish to one day know what it feels like.
I feel like there is too much copy and paste. Too many bought samples, BEATS. Write your music, make it sound like YOU. Something different and unique to your specific style. Summon your influences from the past and try to do something that they might have missed.
So far its a very personable experience that I would suggest any musician to try.
That the only way to have your music heard is if it sounds like everything that is already popular. I would rather have underground heads listen to me then the top 40 listeners.
There isn't much going on here honestly.
Don't make it the goal. Because if you make music specifically for the large audience, you are making bland music that you're not going to enjoy actually performing.
There are bands that were underground that I cant even remember the artist name but I can remember the sound and it has influenced me.
