Jorge Retamoza

Bio

Jorge Retamoza is the argentine saxophonist who has more developed the inclusion of his instrument in the language of tango. His solid career is held by several record releases, multiple solo performances at various symphonic environments, tour through Argentina, America and Europe, participation in festivals of tango and jazz, taught master classes on saxophone in tango and popular music at public and private schools in Argentina, America and Europe. He is author of "The Tango from Saxo" book of practical work for the development of tango language with the sax. (Book commissioned by Melos Ediciones Musicales). He has received several awards and distinctions including TRIBUNE OF ARGENTINE MUSIC UNESCO, 2008. INAMU (National Institute of Music) 2015.
