Everyone told me they liked my stuff and that I don't sound like anyone else. I started years ago, took lessons and my teacher said I had a good ear and picked up stuff faster than anyone he ever saw, he stopped charging me and we started jamming. He played me some Marc Ribot and Frank Zappa and said I should do stuff kinda like that. Jimmy Page, Frank Zappa, Mike Keneally , Roy Buchanan, are a few of my favorite guitarists, but I could go on forever. George Benson, Grant Green, Jimmy Bryant, Stevie Ray, Jason Falkner, Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth. You get the idea. I don't expect everyone to get it. It's weird enough to classify as "Experimental" sometimes I guess, but I just try to make real the songs that are going on in my head sometimes. That's what it is for me. There is an element of magic involved. I have been told that upon repeated listening, they become insistent melodies that may become stuck in your head as well. You have been forewarned...
