I'm entering the 2nd year of a 3 year practice phase. Then I want to do a 7 Year hit it hard phase, by then (June25th, 2029)I want to be well known enough to quit my day job and just go back to playing bass... but for a Top 40 Star Touring the World with Pepsi $$$. The show I'm working on is a Live Looping multiple Instrumental Sci-Fi Folk/Funk called Joe Cool & The K.G.B.
If it could be put into words, it wouldn't be music...
Playing something new... and good... more often.
I've been sending some tip money to a guy in Uganda that is taking care of a bunch of orphan kids. Over the course of the rest of my life, I want to continue building a direct relationship and connection between Vermont and Uganda. Scientist predict the civilization will crack in 2050. There is a science fiction author named Issac Asimov. He wrote 500 books, many of them Science nonfiction. Anyhow, in the story "The Foundation" Hari Seldon is shocked to discover that his advanced statistical analysis predicts that the civilization is about to fall. Of course noone believes him, the Empire was as strong as ever. Dr. Seldon knows it is too late to prevent the fall, so comes up with a risk and damage mitigation mechanism. Scientists use the Seldon Plan to create a new Civilization as soon as possible after the fall based on peace, science, knowledge, and equity. He made two "Foundations" in two very different parts of the galaxy that were the seeds of the new civilization. I'm trying to make a model of this... #VTSELDONPLAN #UGSELDONPLAN to preserve Kindness, peace, science, and equity as we enter the 22nd Century. This plan is based on changing the world with no starting resources other than our life. It is a revolution based on ideas. We will preserve and build knowledge. I'm going to try to put it in a simple book using neurophysiology and psychology to make a simple guidebook for practicing kindness and learning that can be used to build our foundation for the future. Peace, Love, Science, Art, &Music.

Blackwolf, Gnomedad, Down & Around, Pat Panang, Demons of the Abyss, Old Mad Dragon, Planet 22, Primus, ODB, Bach...
I can't stop. I tried for a month once a couple of years ago and just ended up playing double the next month...
Listen, Help & Be Kind.
I like that I will play in a different way because of peer pressure. At home my jams are perfect... Hero in my own mind. In front of real people in person or on youtubes in Virtual Reality #VTVR is more likely to push me to try something new and go out of the comfort zone to show off while at the same time making me hold back and play it safe to avoid embarrassment. We all know it is fun to play live. I'm not sure it motivates me much anymore. I'm thinking of focusing on putting out singles. I reread the history of the business of hip hop recently, and essentially it is the history of the stories of songs. Hip hop and you dont stop the breaks etc.
Star Wars: Your focus determines your reality. A person can improve their reality by slowing down, focusing on what is great, and having fun with their families and friends.
I cant believe it. My brother and I operated 35 iterations of this same thing... from paper notebooks and stickers to BASIC to primitive computer networks to touring with payphones, to our own proprietary systems, through the Y2KBUG, proprietary, mail order data CD, then interwebs until youtube is background noise, soundcloud, googlesuite, I was just about to switch to wav embedded google slides albums but LUCKY I FOUND DROOBLE!!!... looks like our old turn of the millennium message board, and the inverse of our proprietary music/media hosting site Degimedia.
Typing on cell phone instead of playing music.
Please always take the time to listen, share, and promote...
