Music is life! Music is a direct path to your inner feelings, your soul and your mind. If you don't feel music I definitely feel sorry for you.
To play for as many people as possible and to make that connection with the audience as a whole and on individual levels.
I would remove greed, lies and money.
SO many to choose from, the 70's still has the greatest songs ever written.
Big Wreck, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The beatles
The feeling I get when others enjoy it as much as I do.
Believe in yourself, do the right thing, have fun, don't hurt others while living your own life.
There is ABSOLUTELY no better feeling when you play in front of an audience for the first time and they start singing along or come up to you after the show to compliment you on the music.
It's very hard to be a full-time working musician if your standard of living is higher than an 18 year old. Paying the mortgage, the car payment and supporting a family is difficult enough but doing it on a musicians pay is even tougher. People settle for what they think is good music instead of learning to play an instrument themselves and appreciating the level of talent that is required to be great. Electronic music is great but it is so easy to make it today that no one appreciates real music when they hear it. Everyone loves candy but you can only eat so much before you feel sick.
Drooble is fantastic! Any platform that helps musicians reach a bigger audience is great. One that also builds a community of like-minded people is even better!
Time. There's never enough of it and trying to use it efficiently is exhausting.
Going to see other bands play live, buying their merch and help promote their music to other people through social media.
The ability to listen to their own music first and be their own worst critic. If you can't pick apart your own music and see flaws or take criticism, you won't be prepared when someone else does it for you. Also they should be real, play and sing from the heart, don't write for the sake of writing music, if you believe in what you're doing so will others.
