What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music feels good. I can enjoy it in any situation. Never lets me down and it’s always there for me!

What is your music dream?

Perform, write, record and be proud if even one person enjoys my music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Peace, love and happiness...and understanding of each other, with music as a vehicle. This interview is starting to sound like a song lol

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I remember hearing Riders on the Storm by the doors as a young child. It was the first time I felt moved emotionally by a piece of music. Not a big fan of the Doors but...

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Early influences include Zeppelin, and blues based rock. Then I got turned onto the Funk, old RnB, Soul. Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, JB, Temptations into Prince, Jamiroquai...many influences!

What inspires you to make music?

It’s just in me and wants to flow out. The world around me, love and loss, life and experience.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Learned lessons, positivity, clever stories...

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Best feeling ever!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

You’re your own brand. Work hard, get your music out there, build your musical resume and fan base. You have to learn how business and the music industry works in the modern world, so get at it!

What do you think of Drooble?

Great platform to connect with other musicians and exposed to lots of music and styles. Early stages so we will so how it adapts. I was not attracted to try it based on the name and logo. They don’t reflect the brand as I’d expect a global platform for artists should.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Lack of support for artists and poor revenue.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Involved in local music, try to support artists performances and buying music. Always connecting with other musicians via social media to help support.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Besides skill as a musician you’ll need marketing and business especially some tech skills. It’s digital baby.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
