His warm and heartfelt tone tips the hat off to charismatic performers such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, and even the great Jimi Hendrix, only to mention a few. This award-winning artist managed to charm the audiences, and the media alike, as his music was covered very favorably by media such as Blues Tone Magazine, just to mention one. Recently, The James Pitts Band released a handful of singles to warm up the audience for their long-awaited new album, “Come To Play The Blues.” The new record will be released on July 18th, marking the beginning of a new chapter for this talented artist.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music to me is life, I don't know what I would be doing if I wasn't playing music. I gives me an outlet for whatever I need to rel;ease. It also allows me to try to bring some joy to the lives of others.

What is your music dream?

Of course the dream is the typical dream of any musician. Tour the world and share our music with as many people as possible. However that's not our motivation. We enjoy playing and we're happy to be doing it any where for whoever wants to listen. And if we help to brighten their day a bit or help them get rid of something we're happy.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Wow, that's a tough question. I'm gonna think about that one for a bit.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Stevie Ray Vaughan's song "Lenny". My uncle used to play it every day.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

My list is pretty long: Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Albert Collins, Chris Cain, Sean Costello, Eric Gales, Philip Sayce, Freddie King, BB king, Robin Trower, Joe Bonamassa, Little Milton, Otis Rush, Son Seals, James Brown, Joe Cocker, Chris Duarte, Eric Johnson, Pat Travers, Albert King and MANY, MANY more. Really if it's music it has some kind of influence on me.

What inspires you to make music?

Every thing. Literally, Everything. I could be walking down the street and see a rock and next thing I know I've started writing lyrics for a song about a rock getting thrown through a window ..

What is the message you want to send with your music?

We want people to know that yes life may be hard some times and things may not be going your way. But that'snot a permanent situation, there is always an upside no matter how bad it seems.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Performing in front of an audience is energizing and an over all incredible feeling. Especially when you get the crowds that stand directly in front of the stage and they give you their all which in turn gives you more enery to give back to them Even better when you have audiences who are singing along and dancing.

What do you think of Drooble?

I don't know as of yet. I've only just joined. So far it seems like a good site.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to. When I'm not gigging I try to get out and see local bands, buy merch and help spread the word about shows. Whatever I can do to help.
