What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music, to me, is a place of resolution. Somewhere I can face difficult experiences I've gone through, a coping mechanism of sorts. Music lets me express the feelings I otherwise have troubles connecting with.

What is your music dream?

I'd like to be a great singer-songwriter and mixing engineer so I can continue to write, record, and mix my own work the best way possible.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I wouldn't presume I could change the world. Influence people's minds? Perhaps... but not change the world. I'll leave that to the universe.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

This may be silly to most, but Every Time You Go Away - by Paul Young. It had a huge impact on me as it came on the radio (when I was a kid) at a crucial moment when I lost someone in my life.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

This is a big question. There are so many. I'll try to list some. Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Motely Crue, Michael Jackson, Elbow, Radiohead, Nine inch Nails, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Oceansize, 30 Seconds to Mars (1st and 2nd albums only), Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Beck, Muse, Sun Kil Moon, Tenacious D, Thom Yorke, Huey Lewis, Mellowdrone, Eminem, Circa Survive, The Beatles, Rage Against the Machine, Bob Marely, Nirvana, Silverchair, Jack White, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Beastie Boys, British Theatre, Chevelle, Cold, David Bowie, Deftones, Dr. Dre, Dredg, Filter, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Johnny Cash, Korn, Lo-Pro, The Mars Volta, Miles Davis, Modest Mouse, Onesidezero, Puscifer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sevendust, Sigur Ros, Smashing Pumpkins, Stabbing Westward, Staind, Stone Temple Pilots, Taproot, thenewno2, Toadies, Tom Waits, U2, Ween.

What inspires you to make music?

Real life events. The capricious nature of the universe and futile attempt to change it.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Reflect on what connects us through brutally honest receipts of personal experiences that asterisk the importance of savoring each and every moment.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nervous and exhilarated.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Less big money (AKA Labels), more big music.

What do you think of Drooble?

I'm really enjoying Drooble so far.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I have a drive to be great at many things (i.e. instruments, songwriting, recording, mixing, mastering, etc.), It frustrates me that I can't be great at all of them at once. Slowly but surely.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I did as recent as a few years ago, however I now have two young children and have much less time to donate than I did before. But I still try to get out now and then when I can.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be pretty, have a ghost writer, and be willing to sell your soul. Sorry - I'm a bit pessimistic about today's music "industry".
