Story

Love and live music! I've been playing since I was 9 years old, but fell in love with the Bass Clef when I first picked up a Baritone Sax. I know, I know. The Bari uses the treble clef, but that's what began my interest in the deeper end of the scales... Been a musician for 35 years now and still am finding new ways to express myself musically.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my life. I live it, I breathe it. It moves me in ways I could never explain or describe. It gives me anguish, joy, elation, angst. It also helps me burn off steam....

What is your music dream?

I wish that I could share openly with others without the need for paying others in order to be heard.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Tolerance. We have so many differences that keep us apart, it seems the LEAST we can all do is be accepting, if not celebratory, of those differences.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I Want More from Suicidal Tendencies

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Daft Punk, Prodigy, Skrillex, Korn, Metallica, Deadmou5, Green Day, Dead Can Dance, Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Motley Crue, Testament, Anthrax, Baby Alice, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan, the list goes on and on and on...

What inspires you to make music?

EVERYTHING

What is the message you want to send with your music?

We can find joy for any season.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Energized.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I see too many people who lack substance and have no desire to rise above and to break the mold and to experiment with music and work outside of their comfort zones.

What do you think of Drooble?

Still pretty new here. I haven't really had the opportunity to fully utilize Drooble yet.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Finding an ending for that ONE song!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I haven't really been active in the local scene. It seems that Cleveland doesn't have a real deep EDM scene. Even so, I have Enochlophobia and unless I'm up on stage, crowds are usually intolerable for me.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

You just have to catch someone's ear. After you do that, the rest will fall into place.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Blind Lace, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Echo Beds.
